Aspects (WIP)

Aspects is a series I started as a visual response to my 3rd Year dissertation. The concept is based on the 7 Cardinal Sins and their corresponding Virtues, with them being in relationships together.

For the most part they're couples, although Lust and Chastity are in an open relationship and Pride, Humility, Greed, and Charity are in a polyamorous relationship.

These are the logos, one with a title and one without! I took the symbol of the crucified serpent, used in Alchemy to signify the ’fixing of the volatile’ – or, the calming of what is chaotic When broken down the symbol is a combination of a crucifix, representative of absolution of sin, virtue, Christ; and a serpent, representative of indulgence in sin, Lucifer, the Original Sin in Eden, etc.. Combining them therefore symbolises Sin and Virtue coming together to create perfect balance
